Controlling the effects of anger is what rage control is all about. Anger often turns into rage when it is not expressed properly. Rage is anger that is being expressed with the use of some type of fury or violence.

There are a number of ways to stop rage; this article looks at five of them.

Stop seething

To control rage, the first thing you can do is not let it become rage in the first place. People who seethe with anger are a category of people whose anger turns to rage more often than other people’s anger.

Rage tends to come from anger that people hold in. The not so funny joke is that many times people who hold in their anger do so thinking that they are not hurting anyone. While in fact, they are hurting themselves.

You should not be aggressive, but you should be assertive.

Exercise regularly and moderately

Exercise will help when it comes to rage control. It does not even have to be difficult exercise. What you need to do is exercise aerobically. This is enough to release endorphins inside you, which make you feel better.

And since you feel better, you will think better about your surroundings, and the people around you.

Be relaxed

Being able to relax is also important. Every day you need to take a few minutes time to not care or be concerned about anything. For a certain amount of time every day, make it your job to just not care.

Enjoy baths that relax you, take an easy swim, or even get a massage.

Worthwhile distractions

A hobby that you enjoy will help your rage control. As you see yourself becoming more and more productive in other areas your satisfaction with life will go up, and you will not be angry as much.

No anger…no rage.

Anger management classes

Rage control will be helped best of all with anger management classes. The classes are not expensive, and participant surveys show that they are 95% effective at changing attitudes and behavior. They do not take a lot of time to work, and can even be done online.
